The situation regarding the Coronavirus is constantly changing, and has impacted our members, and the industry at large, in a multitude of ways. At NLTC, we have been doing, and will continue to do, all we can to assist our members in these tumultuous times.
The Current Situation
As everything is now beginning to re-commence across the UK, the training industry is undergoing a change in situation. Right now, courses are affected in the following ways:
Driver CPC
Periodic Driver CPC training can currently be completed both inside the classroom and remotely. The normal classroom requirements are currently in place.
ADR
ADR training can currently be completed both inside the classroom and remotely. When a course is completed remotely, the examination must still be completed inside the classroom. The normal classroom requirements are currently in place.
PDP
Both the classroom and practical elements of the Petroleum Driver Passport course can be completed currently. They are largely back to normal, with the only significant difference being that the driving is not currently assessed as part of the practical element, and the assessor currently cannot share the cab with the driver.
